Currently, in appsettings.json, we have these two attributes:
FILE_STORAGE_MAX_TOTAL_DISK_SPACE
It is used as part of the Dashboard file storage metrics, but the limit is not actually enforced.
We also have:
DATABASE_MAX_SIZE
But it is not being used anywhere.
Should we enforce these limits from a system perspective? Maybe a system administrator would want to place some safe guards via env variables. Or is this not important and limits can be inherited from the hosting provider?
