Efficiencies (ask Bob Pinsker, Craig has a review paper)
Added ability to summarize a dd
Compare FUSE Vs Nan's ODS
Different effects of transport models
Clearly see double-solution (when fusion power kicks in)

BoP question:
He cooled divertor/wall has pumping electricity needs that are 100MW
HCD 65MW
0.3 efficiency of converting heat to electric (limited by Carnaut cycle to ~40 percent)
Do we need to use He?
That's what you get when
Need to check that we do not subtract: net power output from cycle is already (generate-required pumping)
We need to validate this result
What's the heat transfer coefficient from materials to helium? Function of pipe geometry and He properties.
On the other hand, some researchers are under the impression that use of helium cooling requires high pressure, large pumping power and larger manifold sizes due its low density at atmospheric pressure. In this paper it is shown that these concerns can be eliminated through the use of heat transfer enhancement techniques to reduce the flow, pumping power and pressure requirements.

Sheffield done and verified against ITER case in their paper
Need to:
look at Sheffield model for availability
conversion to todays dollars and inflation projection

GATM Jim got back to us
Fixing things and be ready to chat with Jim next week (every two weeks)

Working on package for erosion, materials damage, and tritium retention
The idea is to get a lifetime
Divertor: what matters is heat flux
First wall: what matters is the neutrals flux
Both are affected by neutrons (integrated DPA as proxy?)
Tritium retention depends on traps generated by neutrons
Work on plasma facing surface --> give it a try and merge

Updated TEQUILA to use Plots Recipes
Working behind the scenes to get flux-surface averaged quantities in tequila
Need to double check, things behave strange in pedestal sometimes
Necessary to be able to operate on Jt/R as input (instead of FF')
Working with Jt/R is needed to include it in FUSE

Finished electrostatic training
Looking at discrepancies at very low fluxes
Will investigate so called "natural" flux normalization

Site layout in FUSE?
Could be used for costing
Start from ITER and fission power plant buildings
Scale them with respect to powers, volumes, ...
Adriana: ARIES does just that. Could be a good starting point.
