I use the snake in my GitHub README, and the SVG is built based on the contributions for 2024.

SVG is recreated every 12 hours, but for some reason, only last year's contributions are taken into account.

svg is generated based on statistics for the past year, here is the current data for which svg should be generated

perhaps I understand why this is happening, by default, for some reason, github displays contributions for the past year, and apparently the snake parses exactly this data, without using the year filter on the right, which displays the current data.

if you go to my profile and look at the contributions section, you will most likely see statistics for the last year, however, the 2025 tab on the right is active, but if you click on 2025, the contributions schedule will update. I do not know what this is related to.

yes that is by design. It's supposed to mirror the contribution graph by default on the profile page, which display a rolling year
