Can't Alt-Tab on Win 10 #26
Comments
I had this bug... A workaround: set the game in window mode, then enable window borderless in DSFix.ini... It should work after that |
i'm not sure if this is the code itself or the actual game and how windows handles it really; might be interesting to see if the multiple desktop feature in windows 10 can help |
@prototype99 Are you using |
forcefullscreen1+ingame fullscreen1=crash |
@prototype99 Are you waiting until the first loading bonfire animation to start before alt-tabbing away?
I'm running Windows 10. My results when testing is:
But these tests are with the DSfix from my work branch. I should test with the 2.4 to see if i have a problem there. |
Hmmm i'll make sure to give yours a try, I actually wait until it has loaded the complete game (post loading a save) |
oh wait yours is apparently even with the original, so i'm not sure if it would make a difference? |
I can alt-tab under Windows 10 without issue, it does however take a while to return to the game (sits at a white screen for a couple seconds). Don't alt-tab while an Overlay is active or else you can end up in a situation where it immediately minimizes again after it gets past the white screen or the white screen persisting for a very, very, very long time before the game resumes properly. |
When I have DSFix installed, I can't alt tab in Windows 10.
What happens is, I alt tab out fine, and can use my computer, but I can't go back to the game, when I do, it crashes.
