What would be better - a simple, not colour-rich icon like the old one (without the gradients) or a more complex one, more close to how Firefox icon looks like now in Papirus (with gradients)? I think i prefer the more simple one.

The problem with purple pieces is that I think they conflict with white outlines.
Got it, I'll start to work on other sizes for the 2nd one.
