Hello! I try to keep my subscription feed tidy, but it comes at a tremendous price - I have to wait forever for the feed to reach 3 years back. It would be great to have [subj] option to vastly speed things up. Thank you!

Throwing my voice behind this; needs to be implemented ASAP if not entirely for performance reasons.
I cannot imagine having to wait for 3 years of content to be loaded - My browser has a fit and has had to be forcefully restarted several times with just 6 months to load.
