Plugin improperly reporting offline and not returning online #10

There have been user reports that the device reports offline (presumably a check failed) and subsequent checks didn't fix it.

After a failing check, there should be subsequent checks that aren't delayed a full minute
Maybe checks are timing out too quickly in general, causing the initial failure
