  • ip is used instead of ifconfig. This makes it run in newer distributions.
  • Interfaces are searched using the MAC address. Works with interfaces not named ETH*.
  • Added support for GATEWAY_IFACE context variable. When several networks have a gateway defined this variable selects the interface that is going to configure it. Ex: GATEWAY_IFACE=2.
