Could using this package contribute to performance issues?

We have been using screen_util for the past four months on some pages of our app. During this time, we’ve noticed performance issues, but since we’ve made many updates in the meantime, I don’t want to assume a direct correlation with the package. However, I’m curious—could this package introduce additional calculations that might lead to increased computational load?
