Description
Hi!
I have several shortcuts to drives and folders in my start menu.
Open Shell correctly expands them such that I can quickly navigate through them as a menu.
But: When I open a folder by clicking on it in the menu, there is a small problem:
The path displayed in Explorer is not the real path, but it includes the start menu.
A drive, e.g. D:\
Clicking on "Code" opens an Explorer window. The path is quite odd, though:
When I click into the path, it looks better, so this case is OK for me:
But, when I don't click on a subdirectory but on the toplevel item, it's completely odd:
There's no way to get rid of this. Well, this is not a major problem, but when you copy the path from the explorer window into a "File Open" or "File Save" dialog, it's really not nice.
It would be great if Open Shell could open the Explorer window with the correctly expanded path.
If that's not possible with the shortcuts from the start menu, maybe you could add a configuration option to add drives and folders as user specific "Special Items".
