Description
This starts with me wanting to get rid of the win 11 start menu completely because it sucks, and I wanted to use the older win 7 style one, so I read up on how to do that with open shell. I have the physical windows key working and then I needed to fix open shell to work where the left click with the mouse would open the same win 7 menu. To do this I read up on covering the windows 11 button with a transparent box. After checking the Replace start button option in the menu settings and then using the custom option to replace the menu button with an icon is a clear box, the win+X right click no longer works.
It had obviously occurred to me that because there is now a mostly transparent box covering the actual windows button that when I go to right click over where the windows button is the win+x option in no longer working because I am not right clicking on the windows button anymore, but the transparent button I am using to cover it. Is this something I can fix by having the win +X option work for if I right click on the transparent box?
