Love the app & use it constantly
Had some ideas to share with you, all for yt downloads:
Mass link copy/paste mode
Issue: When copying links from my subscriptions, I have to enter them one by one.
Possible solution: "mass link entering mode", which would take consecutive copy/paste outputs from the user and input them into a list, which could be then confirmed to "download immediately"
"Best quality" upper limit
For those of us who'd like to "download immediately" but not the 8K version of that funny cats video compilation - I'd suggest to give the ability to set an upper quality limit.
Easier way to choose the original soundrack
Since the emergence of ai-downloaded soundtracks, finding the original video format to choose from the list has become an issue. Now I know the manual solution - just scroll to the first position, which shouldn't have any language coding in it, so no "en" between "| |", just the video format like "|H.264|".
But adding a "original soundrack by default" option, or "filter out translated soundtracks" option would be good.
A mode to download with only the video ID
Sometimes, or even quite often, I download audio instead of video, or the other way around. While sometimes there was an issue, where videos downloaded without an audiotrack due to other (server side, app-side, idk which) issues.
This is just a nice to have, to do if nothing else is on the plate. But if we could take the video ID from the downloaded file name and just input it into the app, without having to search for the video link manually or inputting the first part of the URL from memory - that would be great.
Allow for the next queued download to start during the "sleeping" phase
I see that the sleeping phase can take up to 30 seconds of the total download time, so I say why not put it to use? Allow for an option to start the next "queued" download during the "sleeping" phase of the current download.
All said above is not critical and would just be a cherry on top of a tasty cake, which is the work you guys have done! Thank you very much for your efforts.
