This project helps you create a Docker container that runs Snort 3, a tool used to detect and prevent network intrusions. The Docker container is based on Ubuntu 20.04 and includes everything you need to get Snort 3 up and running.
- Ubuntu 20.04: The container starts with the Ubuntu 20.04 operating system.
- Dependencies Installed: All the necessary software and libraries Snort needs are pre-installed.
- Snort 3 Setup: The Dockerfile downloads and installs the latest version of Snort 3.
- Interactive Shell: When you start the container, you get a command-line interface where you can run Snort commands.
