Downloading the Base Game

⚠️ Notice
- The game is free on Steam using the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Dedicated Server.
  * This downloads all base game files (SP, SO and MP), except for iw5sp.exe and iw5mp.exe!
- If you bought the game, you can use your original copy.

1. Download and install Steam.
   • You'll need to create a Steam account.
2. Open Steam and go to the LIBRARY tab.
3. Click on the magnifier (🔍 Search by Name) and write Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Dedicated Server.
   • If you bought the game, you can use your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Multiplayer.
     • If it doesn't appear, try pressing the Windows + R keys and type steam://install/42750
4. You will see that you get TOOLS -> Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Dedicated Server. Right click and then click on Properties....
5. Go to the LANGUAGE tab and choose the language you want to have, then click on CLOSE.
   • Maybe not all languages can be downloaded.
6. Now click on INSTALL and that's it, wait for the download to be completed.
   • Whether you bought the game or not, you will get some free DLC maps (Erosion, Aground and Terminal).

Downloading the DLCs

1. We can't help you, you can Google it.
2. I can only tell you, that DLCs are affected by language.
   • If you have the game in Spanish and download the DLCs in English, you may find certain errors or they may not work.
     • But it only affects the SP/SO, for the MP it doesn't matter.

Downloading the Update 1.4.382

  • Required for the MP.

Downloading the Update 1.9.446

• The same as 1.4.382, but searching for 1.9.446. :P
  • Required for the SP / SO.
