i have the same issue on my xiaomi 14 ultra global version |
There was a fix to this issue which was mentioned in a different issue Just install the settings app from the releases(the settings-redmi....zip) and then try again you shouldn't get the same error. To any maintainer I think maybe open a PR to update the README to add more info. |

Does this work on newer devices that came with HyperOS? I've been trying it everyday and still have the same errors, I also updated it too the repo that I used. Installed settings.apk using adb and it still doesn't work. |

no, it cannot as there is no solution at all for poco x6 5g |
HyperOS devices that run the recent updates can't update/downgrade settings.apk. tried all updates for my Poco F6 from the one I'm running 1.0.6.0 EU to 1.0.1.0 Tried EU, GL and CN aswell We need to find a way to force replace the settings.apk without bricking the device of course |

Tried the fixes from;
Installed Settings.apk.
Logging in and out of Xiaomi Account.
Device and Sim number (recovery number/phone) are verified and binded to account.
Disabled second sim to only use main binded sim.
Turned on "Synced Messages" and turned off "Find Device".
