How to rate limit on the onUpdate function?

Hello everybody.

I'm back with another question. I want to have some type of rate limiting on the onUpdate function for the real-time chart information. Does this library enable a way to have rate limiting on the function, or will I have to do it manually (using setTimeout function)?
