At the moment, the user can open several patients by selecting them on the PACS view. It will open a tab per each open patient. This is provoking several problems, while we are open several patients. The first problem is the optimization, of the user, opens several patients the system need to render them. Second, the annotations seem to through more errors. Third and last, the user can forget more easily to annotate the patient. So that we need to change the old behaviour. Change this behaviour will improve our Usability and UX. By giving the user just the opportunity to open a single patient, each time, it will also turn our system more accurate since it will be less likely of missing annotations.

The change of this behaviour will solve several issues. The issues are as follows and, although we do not need to solve those issues, it might be important to list them just to acknowledge the issues.

Issues List

  • Non-reset event buttons;

  • Wrong Freehand behaviour;

  • Time and space consuming;

  • Open the same patient more than one time;

  • Pan feature seems to mix with WW/WC;
