Contribute to MDAnalysis code #5004

Hi @Jules-Cesar9! It's great to hear you want to go from user to contributor/developer! =) The user guide contains several details on how to contribute to MDAnalysis. Since you are already an user, I think the best way forward is to contribute with something that would improve your usage/workflow, or fix a bug/quirk you encountered. Otherwise, you can have a look at the open issues (quite a few...) and se if there is something you would be interested in working on. You can work on whatever you want, and open a pull request. Of course, you are most welcome to discuss here about what you want to do, to get some additional input and feedback. Also, don't be afraid to open a (draft) PR earlier on; often it is easier to discuss about actual code you wrote instead of abstract ideas. I hope this helps getting started! Best, |

Hi, I'm using MDAnalysis for 2.5 years and I want to contribute to the code. Is there any specific project I can work on? If yes, do I have to team with other contributors?
