Describe the feature. What should a user be able to do?
A request has come in from a user looking for the ability to sort by file type.

Why do we need this feature?
Current examples is a user who is only looking for geospatial data sets (i.e. .shp or .kml files). The inverse could also be true, a user only looking for tabular data to explore.

Additional context
Current DataCommon is more of a "filter" than a search of datasets. It's not a wildcard search, nor a search on anything other than the name field for datasets, and currently doesn't include gallery visualizations or profile charts.
