Does vscode-lua support virtual workspaces?

Hello,
I have a use case where I need to enable Lua scripting on a remote server. The server has custom annotations and everything to make it more comfortable with vscode. I was wondering if this extension supports virtual workspaces so we can seamlessly achieve this?
