Edit mode squares and dashed lines.

When I click in edit mode the polygons and rectangles these don't show the squares in the corners and in the middle or the dashed lines in red.
Why?

I get my layers from my database, but in edit mode the move actions is not active, but when I create a new rectangle he have the move action active.
Why?
