LUOYE Brand Guidelines

LUOYE welcomes community use of the LUOYE name, the LUOYE Codex Meter name, and the stylized LY mark when that use is accurate and does not mislead people.

Uses we welcome

No separate permission is needed to:

  • identify, discuss, recommend, or link to the official project;
  • use screenshots or the LY mark in articles, tutorials, videos, social posts, reviews, and community discussions about the project;
  • keep the LUOYE name and mark visible in a Contribution Fork and pull request; or
  • create community material that clearly supports or celebrates the official project.

Please link to the Official Repository when practical.

Keep the source clear

Do not use the brand to:

  • claim that an unofficial download, account, service, or release is official;
  • imply LUOYE endorsement of an unrelated product, service, or organization;
  • deceive users, distribute malware, or harm the reputation of the project; or
  • bypass the distribution limits in the project license.

Only releases published by the LUOYEcode/LUOYE-Codex-Meter repository or another channel expressly designated by LUOYE are official releases. Brand use is welcome, but it does not create permission to publish a modified distribution.
