Institutes form a tree structure, and quotas calculated automatically base on position in tree.

From email 2013-06-13, with minor changes.

  • Usage quota reporting. I'd like to be able to have a tree hierarchy,
this will eventually allow Moab to query it directly. But for now if
you look at the usage I should see something like:

    • Institute - Quota
    • RMIT - 40%
    • LaTrobe - 40%
    • Other - 20%
      • Deakin - 33%
      • Swinburne - 33%
      • VPAC - 33%

So you can see Deakin, Swinburne and VPAC have a share of the 20%.
This is an example where they have 33% of the 20% share each.

Probably was nice to have at VPAC. Don't believe this is a requirement anymore. Closing.
