"General file directory" is not respected when dropping a file #8179
Closed
Description
JabRef version
Latest development branch build (please note build date below)
Operating system
Windows
Details on version and operating system
Windows 10
Checked with the latest development build
- I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
- I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
- Library properties: Set
pdf/
as directory - Drag'n'drop a PDF onto an entry
- PDF is attached to the entry
- PDF is put in the directory of the .bib file
Expected behavior:
PDF is put into pdf/
sub directory
Notes
- Note that the PDF still opens. Maybe some magic at JabRef's file open behavior?
- If the PDF is moved into
pdf/
, the PDF still opens
