Router i own 4032 with 2.57

1. Why does telnet reset after router reboot which doesnt happen for FTP
2. does Capture JF Firmware URL #67 allow us to get old version of firmware or is this only for upgrade/stop upgrade?
3. Does Jiotvgo binary file has autostart function or is it to be restared via the auto script?

1. What do you mean by reset here? Telnet turns off or root password is changed? - Anyways, the firmware uses squashfs which is read only. Any changes you perform are stored in /tmp temporarily. Everytime you restart your router, the data in /tmp is lost. The only persisting directories are /flash and /flash2. Also, telnet remains ON after router reboot but the problem is that the iptables data is lost so your port 23 no longer remains open.

2. No. It does not allow you to get old version of firmware. It is only possible if J decides to push an old firmware via update which will never be the case.

3. Use startup script in /flash2

1)Telent doesnt connect after router gets rebooted. Okay so its port 23 which which gets closed as iptables data is lost but how port 21 (FTP) which we had opened via the command (iptables -I fwInBypass -p tcp --dport 21 -m ifgroup --ifgroup-in 0x1/0x1 -j ACCEPT) remains open even after reboot ?

2. So there is no way to downgarde the firmware or a way to download old firmware

tried running jiotvgo at flash2 also tired flash
got this error saying unable to create new folder as its read only file system

Use --config param to specify different config path.
Make sure to follow the original jiotv_go docs to create a proper config first.

@itsyourap is there a way i can block website/ app ( my brother is addicted to freefire xd)
i tired the content filter but it blocks keyword not domain or ips

wired but in my router (4032 with 2.57)
IPV4 dns stays the same as set via web even after router is rebooted
but IPV6 dns gets reset back to Jio Dns
