We need to deploy the newly released fcrepo 6 and test it out. The API hasn't changed between 5 and 6, so I'm only expecting minor turbulence. This would be good to do with ISLE, but I'm sure it would be a welcome addition to the playbook as well.

As far as what to do to test, I'd do a general smoke test and see what pops. Upload some images, check derivatives. Make sure the RDF gets into Fedora, etc...

To take advantage of Fedora 6, we need to rethink our Digital Object model. Probably a larger discussion.

What about the islandora digital object model would need to be reconsidered?

I am guessing @Natkeeran is thinking about the use of "Archival Groups" to store more than one Fedora resource in a single OCFL object. This is certainly something to consider, but Islandora can work with Fedora 6 without it.
