I'm experimenting with creating user roles and am finding the Islandora -> IIIF configuration page accessible to a limited user (/admin/config/islandora/iiif).

I noticed this PR which should have fixed it, but even with my user not having that permission setting, I'm still seeing the setting.

To reproduce, create a role with permissions:

  • "Use the administration pages and help"
  • "Use the toolbar"

Create a user with that role and log in. They can see the IIIF settings.

Never mind! I was using an older version of Islandora. :-)
