[Feature request] User-private folders

I'd really much appreciate a possibility to create 'private' folders that would be accessible only by the casaOS user that created them and possibly by other users that would be allowed by the owner of the folder. Most importantly no user beside the owner should be able to delete or chanage the files inside.

I am running casaOS on my home server so I am not afraid of leakage (not now anyway since I run it on local network but that will change in the future). What I am afraid of is someone accidentally deleting some of my files such as invoices etc. I also see no point allowing everyone using the server to access them anytime they want. Would you please consider this feature?

Thank you very much for raising this request. Coincidentally, our team has been discussing how to design a security module recently, and we are considering how to integrate the security module's features more into the overall CasaOS experience. Therefore, our product manager, ET, suggested that I respond to the question you raised.

The action we will take immediately is to conduct research on the features in the internal versions 0.4.9 and 0.4.10, and to design the product UX and UI at the right time.

However, on the other hand, I would like you to be aware that CasaOS has recently been reorganizing significant feature modules to support the release of our next-generation hardware, ZimaCube, which will provide users with a simpler, out-of-the-box private cloud experience. So, in terms of the timeline, a large part of our development will focus on enhancing the existing features of ZimaCube to make it stable and reliable.
