concerning Age-Depth-Modelling:
I once did it using clam "R code for classical (non-Bayesian) age-depth modelling" from Maarten Blaauw
clam is nicely documented; it has a function for "age-depth modelling with curves through sampled age estimates"; one could try to use this function and connect it to the oxcal output made available by your package.
here is a related publication:
Blaauw, M., 2010. Methods and code for “classical” age-modelling of radiocarbon sequences. Quaternary Geochronology 5, 512–518. doi:10.1016/j.quageo.2010.01.002 pdf
