Random string appearing in search bar

Sometimes after the program is idle in the application bar, I see a random string appearing in the search bar. The issue is not a big trouble as I just need to delete the text from the search bar, but unpleasant.
QtPass 1.1.6 running on Debian 9 installed from deb package.

This is signaling that should be switch-off-able in the new release
