tests don't work on a fresh clone - cannot find module 'purgecss'

I wanted to look at fixing #1086, so I:

• clone the repo
• ran npm install
• ran npm run test

And the first four test suites run fine:

    ✔  @fullhuman/purgecss-from-jsx:test (3s)
    ✔  purgecss-from-pug:test (3s)
    ✔  purgecss-from-html:test (3s)
    ✔  purgecss:test (6s)

But then the rest fail with Cannot find module. Example one:

    ✖  @fullhuman/purgecss-from-tsx:test
       > @fullhuman/purgecss-from-tsx@5.0.0 test
       > jest

        FAIL   purgecss-from-tsx  __tests__/index.test.ts
         ● Test suite failed to run

           Cannot find module '@fullhuman/purgecss-from-jsx' from 'src/index.ts'

           Require stack:
             src/index.ts
             __tests__/index.test.ts

Example two:

    ✖  @fullhuman/postcss-purgecss:test
       > @fullhuman/postcss-purgecss@5.0.0 test
       > jest

        FAIL   postcss-purgecss  __tests__/index.test.ts
         ● Test suite failed to run

           Cannot find module 'purgecss' from 'src/index.ts'

           Require stack:
             src/index.ts
             __tests__/index.test.ts

Is there a step I'm missing to get the tests to pass? I took a look at the github action and didn't see it doing anything more than what I'm doing here

Nevermind, I did miss something from the action! npm run build before running the tests does the trick.
