How to setup FORLOCKER:

1 - Start "FORlocker_setup.exe"

2 - the programm will ask if you have python installed. type "Y" for yes, or "N" for not to answer.

3 - don't close the programm until it closes from itself

4 - you are ready to go! the .exe file is in the freshly created folder called "dist"

How to use FORLOCKER for the first time:

1 - run the programm. a Folder called "Locker" should appear in the directory the program is stored in.

2 - Put everything in the "Locker" folder you wish to encrypt

3 - close FORLOCKER

NOTE: encrypting in FORLOCKER will only encrypt the file's content, meaning it wont encrypt the name of a file. the file will only become not readable.

How to encrypt with FORLOCKER

1 - Make sure your files are not already encrypted. try to open a file. will it open and show it's supposed content? if not, DO NOT PROCEED. YOU WILL BREAK YOUR FILES.

2 - Make sure to restart FORLOCKER if you changed anything on the files in the "Locker" directory since programm start.

3 - open FORLOCKER and wait for the main menu to appear

4 - press "2" and then enter

5 - if you already have a Key-file in your programm directory, press "3", otherwise press "1"

6 - press enter and wait until the the programm shows the main menu again.

NOTE: dont't change any files during encryption process. in worst case, they will be damaged

How to decrypt with FORLOCKER

1 - Make sure your files are not already decrypted. try to open a file. will it open and show it's supposed content? if so, DO NOT PROCEED. YOU WILL BREAK YOUR FILES.

2 - Make sure to restart FORLOCKER if you changed anything on the files in the "Locker" directory since programm start.

3 - open FORLOCKER and wait for the main menu to appear

4 - press "1" and then enter

5 - press "3" and then enter

6 - wait until the the programm shows the main menu again.

NOTE: dont't change any files during decryption process. in worst case, they will be damaged

Last but not least, you are permitted to change or use parts of the programm code and post them online under following permissions:

1 - you are giving me credits

2 - you are not using this programm for comercial purposes

3 - you are not just reposting my entire code or parts of it

4 - you are not abusing the code or parts of it for illegal stuff (like malware)
