In outlook ( 365 ) I can search calendars for our conference rooms, or I can browse by team and add them that way. I hate outlook obviously so I'm trying to do this in with this addon.

I can add calendars by e-mail address, but I can't figure out any way to add the conference room availability calendars. I would imagine maybe knowing the "shared folder id" might help but I have no way of knowing how to obtain that.

I know in the outlook client I can just browse rooms and add the calendar, or i can get a list of those in my "team" and add them.. but in thunderbird I see no way of doing this. Any thoughts?

I was able to add them by using the shared folder ID. I pulled the ID out of the xml file of an invite that was shared by the folder creator. It it a long code that looks something like hj843yurt948rue8994884340048uf0j4590

Add the folder owner as Primary email. Add your email as user name. Put the Share folder ID in the Share folder ID field and you are loving life.

As for conference rooms, I added those just by adding the email of the conference room.

Thanks, I didn't know where to find this share id, that will be useful for future work on calendar set up.

Is there any way of finding out the shared folder ID if you don't happen to already have an invite referencing the room or other resource?

I was also able to add a shared calendar with the share folder ID. I got it from an invite shared by the folder creator. Thanks a lot for the workaround @mslake !!

No worries @pachulo . Glad I could pay it forward for all the people in the software community that have helped me over the years.
