There could be some more info about:

contributing (e.g. short section in Readme.md and link to Contributing.md from Readme)
testing (e.g. info about different modules - MerMEId frontend, eXist, ...)
where to search for which kind of files
archived web pages , cf Archive/save old webpages #107
migration of MerMEId installations - https://github.com/Edirom/MerMEId/wiki/Migrating-from-old-(kb-dk)-MerMEId-install-to-the-2021-dev-branch
