This discussion is for accessibility work related to tota11y.dev.

Action items

Items detailed in "Discussion Points" section:

• Pick option 1,2 or 3 (or combination / alternative) for communications and tracking work.
• Get permissions sorted so I can start moving things from triage to active / closed that are accessibility related
• schedule initial call.

Discussion points

Key items to get us up and running quickly:-

1. Issue templates and communications

Option 1: It would be beneficial to have a blank / non templated issue for accessibility work while we decide on what format works best for the process and for BioDrop @eddiejaoude. This way when we are ready to do mini-audits etc. I can get on with that immediately.

I would suggest that this issue template is clearly marked as "not for general use" in some way (also we could create a GitHub action that automatically closes any issues raised with this template that are not from key accounts perhaps?).

Option 2: Alternatively we can use discussions initially, if you would prefer, and add a more structured template at a later date.

Option 3: We could use "projects" tab and have a project for accessibility work. That way we can use the trello board etc. to see where things are up to.

I think for now, Option 3 is the best way forward, assuming that works for you, then we can create the issue template through discussions there before adding it to the list.

2. Permissions

It would be useful to discuss permissions etc. so that I can pick things up without them having to go through triage first. For example I would like to start looking at #9707 and ask some clarifying questions etc.

3. Initial call

I will drop you a link to my calendly (or you can send me yours if you have one) for our set-up call over weekend / later today.

Ideally if we can do that in the next few days that would be great to minimise unnecessary communications etc. and get some processes and automations in place (such as how to label things that tota11y.dev needs to look at etc.)! 💪🏼💗
