Hi everyone,

Here's a quick follow up about ENERGIS. I wanted to let you know that while the PCB design itself is complete, production of the final PCB version has been pushed back due to costs. I’m planning to place the order in August, so assembly and shipping will probably happen in late August/early September 2025.

Why the delay?
I’ve already invested heavily in prototypes and components, and without big-tech sponsorship (Yes, I’m looking mad at you, resource-wasting YouTubers), I’m covering expenses myself. I’m working solo on this project in my free time, so thank you all for your patience. Your stars, shares, and feedback really help keep the project moving. Please continue to open issues or drop comments in Discussions if you have thoughts or want to help in any form.

In the meantime, I’m gathering all my energy to start recording the ENERGIS series for YouTube. If you’re interested in a deep dive into this project, I definitely recommend checking it out, video link coming soon.

I'm asking, more specifically, about the PDNode-600-Pro USBC PD project but I suppose it applies here as well.

What can we (the community, people interested in the projects) do to help make it a reality?

I’m doing this alone. ENERGIS is still in the final development phase, and I want to finish it first before moving on to PDNode. It shares a lot of similarities with ENERGIS, so development shouldn’t take as long, but the current version is still a design. No prototype has been ordered yet.

ENERGIS is on hold due to financial reasons. I don’t have big companies standing behind me. I can’t magically order a batch for free while smiling in a video and saying the project is supported by some sponsor.

So the best everyone can do is be patient. Buying a coffee helps, but funding is optional, and I will never play the homeless guy asking for change.😅
