Server deployment

shadow98cat has successfully deployed File Meta on Windows Server, with indexing on the server. These are the steps he/she describes:
- The server share folder has the NTFS permission 'System' - Full Control. I believe this is needed for indexing.
- Install FileMeta on server and workstation(s).
- Use FileMeta to add extensions as needed. Make sure that if you add to Workstation, also add to Server.
- On Server 2008, add the File Services role -> then the Windows Search Service role (not the Indexing Service role).
- On Server 2008, open the indexing options and add the Server share folder to the indexing locations.
It is recommended to use at least File Meta 1.2 for server deployments, because of the reduced footprint generated when files are indexed.
