Feedbacks on 2026.2.2 from 2026.1.7: right now positives

Context

I am not a developer. I’ve been using UniGetUI for a while, since it was WingetUI. I updated it whenever a new version became available until 2026.1.10, when something broke (I don’t even remember what it was), and quite a few bugs/complaints were filed. Since then, I downgraded to 2026.1.7 and stayed there until I upgraded to 2026.2.2 today.

Positive Feedbacks

I’d like to share some positive feedback:

1. The new Avalon UI—I got used to it quickly.
2. The UI in 2026.2.2 feels snappier than 2026.1.7.
3. The installer size is down to 58MB, compared to previous versions over 150MB, and compared to 2026.1.7’s 53MB.
4. I love the “Minimum age for updates” feature—it totally fits with the recent wave of supply-chain attacks.

Overall, I love the "free" software. Besides needing to pay more attention recently, it’s been very good software for me.
