v1.0.0 is officially complete, and I'm excited to share the first stable release of CensorCore. This version includes the full core filtering engine, the centralized JSON wordlist, and the simple one‑function API that the library is built around. The goal for this release was to create a lightweight, predictable tool that developers can drop into any project without configuration or setup, and I'm happy with how clean and reliable the first version feels.
This release includes:
The initial profanity, hate‑speech, and harassment wordlist
The
censor.isBlocked(text)APICDN hosting for instant use
Local hosting support
Full documentation and examples
From here, updates will focus on expanding the wordlist, improving performance where possible, and responding to community feedback. If you have suggestions, want to request new words, or have ideas for future features, feel free to open a discussion or join the Word Request section.
Thanks for checking out the project and being part of the very first release.
