XPath-Embedded is a VSCode Extension (v1.44 or later) that formats and syntax highlights languages using embedded XPath (3.1) expressions.

To Install the Extension in VSCode

• Download the .vsix file included in the assets list on the Releases Page
• See the VSCode documentation Install From VSIX

Integration with Saxon XSLT Processor

The extension provides XSLT Tasks for compiling and running XSLT from VSCode. This requires an installed Saxon XSLT Processor (Java) from Saxonica.

Currently Supported 'Host' Languages:

• XSLT 3.0
