Sync video is a app for synchronizing videos online.

Setup

Requirements

Project setup

  1. Clone this repository to your machine with git clone https://github.com/Delivator/sync-video.git or download and unpack the repo from here
  2. Navigate to the newly created folder with cd sync-video
  3. Install dependencies with npm install
  4. Create a project in the firebase console and copy the firebase web config (Getting started with firebase web)
  5. Copy the example settings.json file from src/settings_example.json to src/settings.json and fill it with your information
  6. Copy the example firebaseConfig.js file from src/firebaseConfig_example.js to src/firebaseConfig.js and fill it with your config from the firebase console
  7. Download your service account key from https://console.firebase.google.com/u/0/project/<YOUR_PROJECT_ID>/settings/serviceaccounts/adminsdk, rename it to serviceAccountKey.json and copy it to the root folder of the project

Firebase settings

You can find the database rules in the firestore-rules.txt file inside the project's root directory.

For custom email url's you can use the pattern https://sync-video.me/?mode=<action>&oobCode=<code> where https://sync-video.me/ would be replaced with your own url.

Usage

Compiles and hot-reloads for development

npm run serve

Compiles and minifies for production

npm run build

Run your tests

npm run test

Lints and fixes files

npm run lint

Run webserver

npm start
