seems obvious this would benefit from having LLM integration

vscode has apis for:

• llm chat ^[example]
• inline suggestions ^[example]
• diffs ^{[api] [example]}

could provide users a default model/api, and allow users to bring their own api keys from other services
creating a custom RAG^[1][2] could be a fun rabbit hole, or maybe using premsql
