Vertical Vivaldi

Custom css for vivaldi with auto expand vertical tab

Usage

• To use the css, visit vivaldi://experiments/, tick allow for using css modifications, then go to vivaldi://settings/appearance/ and choose a folder to load from

• Download the .css file and paste in your chosen folder

• Go to tab settings and chose vertical tab on the left and panel on the right

• Untick Accent on window in your color theme to fix the tab stack

Optional Settings (the ones I'm using)

• Right click the right sidebar, select Customise toolbar and drag in your preferred buttons like extensions

• Untick Show address bar

• Untick Enable Workspace

• Create a new theme with:

  • background: #2c2c2c
  • foreground: #d3d9e3
  • highlight: #6590fd
  • Accent: #9b7b22
  • Untick all Colour Overrides

Known Issues

Sidebar might get stuck on hovering state on some rare websites. I managed to fix most of these cases by removing advance css selectors but vivaldi support for css is still very buggy
