At the moment this template sets a cookie value to "changeme" through the environment variable ERLANG_COOKIE If this value is unchanged then should we prevent the application from starting?

Unfortunately this change will add friction for new users. And to no real gain as in docker-compose I don't thing a default cookie value is an issue.

Perhaps only a documentation fix is required.
