Slight Delay in Player Repeat Mode

When I play a (short) song on repeat in the player, I notice a slight delay before the repeat starts. I also notice the same thing when starting with count-in enabled.

Is this something I can improve myself? Or is it due to the player itself?

My code is based on the tutorial.

The only known issue in previous versions was: #1803

As of today I cannot reproduce such a problem in any setup. If you have more details feel free to share to reproduce this problem.
