Add event Link is the same as list event type #352
Comments
they go to diff URLs... ListEvents.php vs EventNames.php can you dbl check |
I also noticed this. It's technically correct but confusing. Clicking "Add event" takes you to the Event Types list, because each Event Type has a "Create Event" button next to it. But it's a bit jarring and feels like a bug. I think the UI needs to be less ambiguous: the "Edit event" form should also be able to function as an "Add event" form, but with the ability to pick the Event type. Then clicking "Add event" can take you to this new form. |
👍 Seth is exactly correct. There is no clear path to add a new event other than going to a the EventNames.php. Both the "Add Church Event" and "List Event Types" resolve to the same page. It seems as if the EventEditor.php is the right choice to rework but it I am not sure the est way to do that :( Seth thanks for the clarification on this. |
@DawoudIO what do you think? Should we try and reword the EventEditor to be an Add event page? |
I am addressing this in my pull request #391 |
@sethjeffery Awesome thanks for that 👍 |
