FreeShow Remote

FreeShow Remote is the mobile companion app for FreeShow presentation software. Control your presentations wirelessly from your iOS or Android device with features including slide navigation, stage display viewing, and auto-discovery of FreeShow instances on your local network.

🏗️ Start Coding

  1. Install dependencies:

    npm install
  2. Start the development server:

    npm start
  3. Run on your device or simulator:

    npm run ios      # iOS simulator
    npm run android  # Android emulator

Release Builds

Android

  1. Update version in app.json and package.json
  2. Run version sync script:
    npm run version
  3. Build for Android:
    npm run build:android    # Google Play (AAB)
    npm run build:amazon     # Amazon Appstore (APK)
  4. Submit to stores:
    npm run submit:android

iOS

  1. Update version numbers:

    • Update version in package.json
    • Update CFBundleShortVersionString in app.jsonios.infoPlist
    • Increment CFBundleVersion (build number) in app.jsonios.infoPlist
  2. Build for iOS:

    npm run build:ios
  3. Submit to App Store:

    npm run submit:ios
