Playing with the latest 1.19.2 version, all the origins work besides Merling. I've taken a look but can't find anything specific.

I'm testing merling on a fresh instance, and it works as intended.
If you're experiencing issues, please check the following:

  • Check your latest.log in \.minecraft\latest.log for any messages referencing origins or OriginsTweaks (ignore "Couldn't load tag originstweaks:wood/..." messages, as 2 of these are intentional)
  • Are you using the latest supported version of Minecraft? 1.20.2 is the latest as of now, since I'm waiting for origins to fully release a newer version (no alpha or beta versions)
  • Have you installed all the dependencies for the latest supported version of minecraft as listed in the latest release of OriginsTweaks?
  • Make sure none of OT's origins or powers are disabled in the origins config (origins_server.json, also applies to Singleplayer worlds, since it technically runs a server for the world itself)
  • Check for any mods that might conflict with OriginsTweaks, such as mods that attempt to change or replace base origins and their abilities.
  • If you're unsure if there are any conflicts, try to load the game with nothing but OriginsTweaks and dependencies, and gradually add mods until you've pinpointed which mod is causing trouble

If you're trying to play on a server, please ask the server admin to follow this checklist.
