When I set my current gaming PC up in August 2023, I ran this Windows Toolbox to remove some of the cruft that I felt I didn't need at the time.
Now, some months later, Microsoft has made their AI tool, Copilot, available to all Windows 11 users in a Windows update. And I see plenty of information about how to invoke Copilot, from just clicking the new taskbar icon to pressing Win+C.
Well, I have ensured that my Windows 11 PC is fully up to date, but I see no Copilot icon. And pressing Win+C invokes the consumer version of Microsoft Teams, asking me to set it up.
I cannot be sure, but I have a gut feeling that this Windows Toolbox, while removing some of the other Microsoft built-in utilities, also somehow preemptively removed Copilot or removed the ability for it to be added in an update.
Can anyone please confirm or deny this? And if it's proven that Windows Toolbox does not affect Copilot, then what can I do to get it installed?
