What happened?

  • I (as in my instance) follow another instance peertube.example
  • There is one user account there that I am not interested in
  • Therefore I muted it server-wide and the videos of this channel are not shown anywhere on my peertube instance
  • I have also enabled redundancy for this instance a while ago
  • when looking at the /admin/follows/video-redundancies-list I can see that videos of this channel are mirrored even after manually removing them from the list

What do you expect to happen instead?

Peertube should not consider videos from muted accounts for redundancy

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Follow instance and add redundancy for it

  2. mute one account on instance

  3. see that redundancy also works for videos from the muted account

Additional information

  • PeerTube version or URL: 2.3.0 (https://video.lw1.at)
  • Browser name/version: Firefox
  • NodeJS version: v12.18.3
